By accessing and using Gritworks Collective LLC (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
You also accept these Terms when you check the box that links to them: when you sign up, or when you pay (including the terms checkbox on the Stripe payment page we send you to).
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Gritworks Collective LLC and its licensors. Our branding, methodologies, and questionnaire tools may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Gritworks Collective LLC.
When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.
Accounts created at purchase: If you pay and do not already have an account, we may create one for you from the email address you paid with.
Signing in: You sign in with a single-use link we email to you, or with a password if you set one, or with another sign-in method we offer. Keep access to your email account secure: anyone who can read it can use a sign-in link.
Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. We ask you to confirm this when you sign up, or the first time you sign in to an account created at purchase.
Missions are self-paced. The platform may set a waiting period between missions, and that period may differ between free and paid access. We recommend leaving time between missions — the space between learning something and using it is where the change happens — and we encourage you to return often to the missions you found hardest.
How to ask. Refunds are requested by email to support@gritworkscollective.com. You do not need to give a reason.
Group purchases. Group refunds are pro-rated by the calls still to come. This applies to every purchase that includes a group with live calls, except the One-on-One with Jon.
One-on-One with Jon. The One-on-One with Jon is not refundable. This includes its 50-minute session with Jon and the program and group access that come with it.
Self-guided access. Self-guided access (access without live calls, when we offer it) can be refunded in full if you ask within 7 days of purchase. It is not refundable after 7 days.
What a full refund ends. A full refund ends the paid access it covers, and your account returns to the free missions. If you are a founding member, a full refund also ends your founding-member price.
We honor up to 2 refund requests per account. Repeated refund requests may result in account restriction.
Paid once. Each purchase is paid once, at the price shown at checkout. A purchase does not renew, and we do not charge you again for it.
The Performance Group. The Performance Group includes the Performance program (all 55 missions), gritBOT within the daily message limit stated at checkout, and one 4-week group with Jon of 4 live calls. The price is $300. The first 30 buyers ("founding members") pay $200, and keep founder pricing when they buy later programs, at the founder price shown at checkout. Sales for a group close at the group's first call or when the group is full, whichever comes first.
One-on-One with Jon. The One-on-One with Jon is $800: one 50-minute session with Jon, plus a program, as described at checkout. Its program access does not end after a set period. It includes gritBOT for 12 months from the first call of the group that comes with it: up to 100 messages a day until two weeks after that group's last call, and up to 50 a day after that. After the 12 months, gritBOT continues only on the monthly plan that includes it (Section 5b).
Other programs and self-guided access. We may offer one or more programs, and self-guided access without live calls, as offered at checkout. What each includes and its price are shown at checkout before you pay. Self-guided access lasts for the period stated at checkout.
How long group access lasts. Full access from a group purchase lasts until two weeks after the group's last call. The date is shown before you pay. After that date, your account keeps the 10 free missions, unless you choose the optional continuation in Section 5b. We keep your saved work. Apart from the periods described in this section and at checkout, access does not end because of the time since you bought it.
Features offered later. Some features (such as advisor sessions) may be offered later under terms shown at that time.
When your group access is ending, we may offer an optional continuation that keeps your missions unlocked. If we offer it, it is a monthly subscription, and you are charged only if you choose it. If you do not choose it, nothing is charged.
The price is $4 a month to keep your missions unlocked, or $9 a month to also keep gritBOT (50 messages a day). The price is shown before you subscribe. You can cancel it at any time by emailing support@gritworkscollective.com. Cancelling stops future charges.
The Service includes AI-powered features (including "gritBOT" and mission analysis tools) that generate coaching suggestions using Google's Gemini models. By using these features, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
Access to purchased content lasts for the period described in Section 5a and at checkout, and only while the platform is actively maintained. Gritworks Collective LLC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service — including specific programs, missions, or features — at any time, with or without notice. In the event of a full platform discontinuation, Gritworks Collective will provide a minimum of 90 days' advance notice to active users via email. No refunds will be issued for previously purchased access in the event of a discontinuation.
Certain programs (including Partnering) allow enrolled users to invite a partner to create a linked account. By using the Partner Invite feature, both parties agree to the following:

Gritworks provides coaching, not therapy. Gritworks Collective LLC provides resilience coaching, educational frameworks, and self-guided relational tools (including the Co-Parenting Alignment Matrix). The Service is strictly educational and does not constitute medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our tools are not a substitute for professional clinical care. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, experiencing domestic violence, or suspect child abuse, contact local crisis services immediately.

The Service, including all coaching materials, interactive tools, and frameworks, is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Gritworks Collective LLC, its founders, affiliates, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to personal injury, emotional distress, family disputes, loss of custody, or financial losses resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service or any content provided therein. Your reliance on any information provided by the Service is solely at your own risk.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Gritworks Collective LLC from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, any claims brought by third parties (including co-parents or family members) resulting from your application of our frameworks or advice.
We may issue promotion codes, including referral codes. By using one, you agree that:
Binding Arbitration: Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or the use of Gritworks Collective LLC (including disputes over data privacy or tracking) shall be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court.
Class Action Waiver: You and Gritworks Collective LLC agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims, and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email at the address on file at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms. Minor changes (like fixing typos) may be made without notice.
Gritworks Collective uses internal coaching metrics (numeric scores) solely for content personalization and curriculum routing. These metrics are not clinical assessments, evaluations of client behavior, or client records. We keep your check-in ratings and what you write in your missions, so you can see your progress over time. We keep them until you delete your account. De-identified, anonymous data may be retained indefinitely for program improvement and research purposes; this data contains no personally identifiable information and cannot be linked to any individual user.
Gritworks Collective LLC is not a healthcare provider and does not maintain clinical records. In the event that Gritworks Collective LLC receives a subpoena, court order, or other legal process requesting user data, Gritworks reserves the right to charge a records retrieval and compliance fee of $250 per hour (one-hour minimum) for the time and expense required to respond. This fee must be tendered in advance of any document production. Gritworks Collective LLC will comply with valid legal process to the extent required by law, but will only produce data that exists at the time of the request.
Parts of the Service let you upload content — attachments in messages, and material you submit for display. You keep whatever rights you already had in what you upload, and you are responsible for having the right to upload it.
If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated copyright agent. The full procedure, everything a notice must contain, how to send a counter-notice if your material was removed by mistake, and our repeat-infringer policy are set out on our Copyright & DMCA page.
We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing — or that it was removed by mistake — can make you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.
